Job Description:
Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as an employee advocate; advises organizational leaders on
execution of employee relation best practices; assists Human Resources (HR) management with execution of talent
strategy, employee engagement, retention, succession planning, organizational development, workforce planning,
and other employee life-cycle functions ; provides daily performance management guidance to managers; acts
as a mediator between managers and employees; and stays current on organization policies,
government regulations, employment law, HR trends, and HR management technologies.
Responsibilities
- · Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to execute workforce strategy and relevant employee life cycle functions (i.e., talent planning, succession planning, retention initiatives) and other organizational development efforts aligned with business objectives
- · Provide daily performance management guidance to organizational leadership (i.e., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) and support leaders in addressing complex employee relations matters and performance concerns
- · Act as a mediator between managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase employee engagement, and facilitate employee retention
- · Utilize workforce analytics, reporting tools, and HR technologies to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making
- · Analyze HR processes and recommend efficiencies, automation opportunities, and process improvements that enhance service delivery and the employee experience
- · Analyze compensation adjustments and position change recommendations
- · Support internal learning and development programs and initiatives that provide growth opportunities for employees and strengthen leadership capabilities throughout the organization
- · Lead or assist with investigations, disciplinary meetings, terminations, and other employee relations issues while ensuring consistent application of company policies and employment law
- · Maintain current knowledge of company policies, employment law, regulatory updates, HR best practices, and emerging HR technologies to provide accurate guidance and support consistent policy application
- · Partner with Compensation, Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll, and other HR functions to provide integrated HR solutions that support organizational objectives
- · Support organizational changes, restructures, and workforce planning activities by providing guidance on employee impacts, risk mitigation, and communication strategies
- · Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- · Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Human Resources experience required
- Experience analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning preferred
- Proficient in Spanish preferred
- Must have knowledge of performance management, coaching, career development, conflict resolution techniques, and be comfortable enacting disciplinary measures
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with with employees at all levels of the organization
- Comfortable presenting information to organization management and executive leadership
- Proficient knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and employment law
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to transform raw data into insights that contribute to HR and organizational objectives
- Independent learner, willing to stay current on HR best practices, regulatory updates, HR technologies, organizational policy, and evolving organizational objectives
- Problem solver with strong active listening skills who can enact successful solutions and mediate between conflicting parties
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships, influence leaders, and provide credible HR guidance across all levels of the organization
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled productivity tools and HR technologies to improve efficiency, reporting, communication, and decision-making preferred
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, HRIS, and able to quickly learn other work-related software
