Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Carpenters / Form Setters/ Concrete Finishers for projects located in or around Houston, TX. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Build, set, and strip concrete forms for columns and structural concrete
- Set and align forms according to layout and specifications
- Place, pour, screed, and finish concrete
- Install form-work, braces, and supports
- Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings
- Work around rebar, anchor bolts, and embedded materials
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain quality workmanship while following all safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Concrete Carpenter, Form Setter, or Concrete Finisher
- Experience with concrete columns and structural concrete
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 preferred (if required)
