Support the Head of Delivery & Management Office in:
- Taking responsibility for the oversight, improvement, and reporting on the implementation of appropriate SDLC control processes, ensuring they are operating accurately and effectively
- Understanding of Technology Controls and take responsibility of ensuring they are operating accurately and effectively
- Ensure that governance structures are effectively embedded across all delivery platforms.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organisation's objectives.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks, ensuring they are communicated and understood by relevant stakeholders.
- Provide governance on Tech Debt and End of Service Life across Asset Management Tech, ensuring Platform Leads are meeting their accountability with no business impact.
- Perform Review and Report on the Key Control Indicators across the platform
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the BCP on firm approved system
- Support in conducting exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of BCP plans in conjunction with the Group Operational Resilience team
- Carrying out cross platform assessments, identifying and advising on control gaps
- Coordinate internal and external audit activity relating to the Delivery Platforms
- Contribute thought leadership to administrative process improvement, enabling the platform teams to focus on delivery
- Ability to influence at senior management level
- Ability to apply judgement and balance risk versus business interest whilst ensuring compliance to all relevant policies and standards
- Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to senior management and relevant committees.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on risk management activities and outcomes.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends that could impact governance, risk, and control practices.
- Develop and maintain crisis management and business continuity plans to ensure organisational resilience.
Lead exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of these plans.
