CROSSING GUARD SUBSTITUTE
Seasonal, $20.11 / hr.
Fill in as needed at Specific Crosswalk Within Tooele City
Looking for a flexible way to earn extra income without committing to a full-time or fixed schedule? Consider becoming a Substitute Crossing Guard.
Our app-based scheduling system makes it easy to pick up available shifts. When a substitute is needed, you'll receive a notification through the app and can simply claim the shift if you're available, giving you the flexibility to work when it fits your schedule.
Substitute Crossing Guards work around the elementary school calendar, with shifts typically consisting of one hour in the morning before school and one hour in the afternoon at dismissal. Many of our regular Crossing Guards are hired from our substitute pool, making this an excellent opportunity to gain experience and be considered for future permanent openings.
Crossing Guards do more than help children safely cross the street, they play an important role in the community. For many students, they are the first friendly face they see on the way to school and the last before heading home. When our regular Crossing Guards are unavailable, our substitutes step in to ensure students continue to have a safe and familiar presence at the crosswalk.
