Overview:
Are you passionate about financial markets and equity trading? We are hiring a Junior Equity Officer for a well-established organization operating in Pakistan's financial services and capital markets industry. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in stock brokerage, investment services, and client relationship management while working in a dynamic trading environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Execute client buy and sell orders accurately in accordance with client instructions and company policies.
- Monitor stock market activity, including price movements, trading volumes, sector performance, corporate announcements, and market news.
- Provide clients with order updates, market information, and trading platform support.
- Ensure all trades are executed only after receiving proper client authorization.
- Follow company policies, exposure limits, margin requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Research, Customer Support, Settlement, and IT teams to ensure smooth trade execution.
- Maintain accurate records of client instructions, trade confirmations, and communications.
- Support clients by sharing research-based investment ideas and market opportunities in coordination with the Research team.
- Monitor client portfolios and communicate relevant market updates and potential risks.
- Contribute to a professional, disciplined, and collaborative trading desk environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in equity trading, brokerage, capital markets, or investment services will be preferred.
- Good understanding of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), trading processes, and brokerage operations.
- Knowledge of SECP, NCCPL, CDC, and risk management practices will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, client handling, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during market hours.
- Proficiency in MS Office, trading platforms, email, WhatsApp, and other digital tools.
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and compliance-focused.
