As a Security Officer Full Time Driver in Archbold, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, greet visitors, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, document security-related activity, and help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly flow of employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries while following site-specific food production and sanitation requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
