The Food Service Aide is responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining area. In addition, assists in the serving and preparation of food.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:30pm and every third weekend on a rotating basis
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists in the preparation of food and sack lunches, does necessary prep work.
- Assists in serving food, maintains salad bar.
- Cleans and maintains dining room and kitchen facilities.
- Operates dish-washing equipment.
- Cleans and checks service equipment.
- Fills salt, pepper and napkin dispensers after each meal.
- Assists in moving and storing supplies.
- Works within established safety guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum: High School graduate or equivalent.
Preferred: Three months experience in a food service area preferred.
Knowledge:
- Individual should have well-defined habits of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
- Must meet State or local food handling requirements, whichever are more restrictive.
- Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certificates.
