Environmental Services - Housekeeping

Bear Lake Memorial Healthcare is seeking a hard-working, dependable individual to help clean various departments throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• General cleaning of various rooms and departments ensuring compliance with strict infection control guidelines
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, washing windows, and washing walls.
• Waxing and stripping floors as needed
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with housekeeping duties is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Adherence to required infection control guidelines for cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• High level of integrity.
• Flexibility to work various hours/shifts, including days, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Willingness to take turns with on-call schedules.
• Physical capability to perform bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, lifting, and walking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Commitment to contributing to the culture and vision of the most caring hospital.
