Location: 9203 F Street, Omaha, NE, 68127, US
Schedule: Full Time Days, Monday through Friday, 3:45am until 12:15pm. Hours based on business needs.

Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
Performs daily pre-op inspection of all processing and welfare areas. Records results in pre-op forms.
Monitors incoming raw materials with respect to temperature, labeling and condition. Records information on quality control sheets. Monitors incoming non-manufactured items for adherence to OSI specifications and records information on quality control sheets.
Monitors and inspects repack and finished product items to insure conformance to OSI specifications. Records on quality control audit sheets.
Performs daily inspection of operational sanitation practices, observes Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), employee hygiene, product storage facilities, and evidence of cross – contamination. Notes deficiencies and corrective actions on quality control sheets.
Monitors HACCP compliance on production processes and regulated products – Takes appropriate action where necessary.
Inspects returned product and determines disposition. Records on quality control sheets.
Performs metal detector checks.
Collect samples for lab analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Effective oral and written communication skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) and data entry experience helpful
Must be able to work independently.
Minimum one year experience in meat production
QA experience and / or knowledge preferred.
