Commercial Banking is comprised of Business and Commercial client portfolios and we prospect and manage clients with a turnover between $5m to $150m or lending $1.5m to $100m.

Due to ongoing growth in the region we have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager based in Brisbane. This role is pivotal in supporting our Executive Managers & Relationship Executives. It enables them to provide a premium service to our clients, supporting successful business growth.
This role promotes a high-performance culture, engaging and developing our team with effective people initiatives. In addition, this role has shared responsibilities for compliance activities and managing ongoing business expenses.
More specifically, you will:
- Lead the business’ people and operational functions, including on-boarding new staff, training, events and customer functions
- Assist with the implementation of business continuity and general business plans, ensuring the business performs to the standards set
- Stay in sync with all operational business requirements and efficiently handle costs
- Conscientiously analyse and provide management reports and assistance to all team members with general reporting
What are we looking for?
- A people person with a strong ability to develop and foster relations with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong communication, articulation and collaboration skills will be complemented by laser-focused time management and organisation ability
- A strong understanding of reporting systems and processes
- Tertiary related qualifications in a Business or related discipline would be advantageous
- Competent with Excel and SharePoint
