ENTER THE GAME

You will join the Data Analytics team, part of a larger Data team which also includes Data Science, Data Product Management and Product Analytics teams. The Analytics team mission is to grow the business by identifying critical insights and high value opportunities. You'll integrate a fast growing team of +30 passionate individuals tackling challenges of all sorts: from scaling marketing campaign analytics to building complex customer segmentations to predicting the outcome of the next football game

 

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

As a Staff Data Analyst specialized in business Growth, you will serve as the strategic analytics partner for our digital acquisition and engagement teams. Working closely with Product Directors and senior business stakeholders, you will ensure that every initiative is guided by data, delivers measurable business impact, and contributes to Betclic's long-term strategic objectives.

Your will leverage strong analytics skills combined with advanced business acumen in the digital acquisition field to:

• Partner with Product Directors and senior business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of strategic priorities, business challenges, and future opportunities.

• Deliver high-impact analyses and transform complex data into actionable insights that drive product improvements and measurable business outcomes.

• Actively participate in the definition of our marketing investment strategy to maximize both efficiency and profitability in our different acquisition channels

• Design and conduct incrementality tests to measure and improve our acquisition performance

• Collaborate with transverse data teams in the deployment of our self-serve analytics capabilities and the semantic layer definition

As part of your Staff Data Analyst scope, you will serve as the primary analytics partner for the Acquisition domain, collaborating closely with Business Leaders, Product Directors, AI/GenAI Leaders, and senior executives to align priorities, shape strategy, and maximize business value. This role offers significant exposure to executive leadership and requires the ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

You should apply if:

• You hold a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science or equivalent from a top university

• You have at least 5 years of Data Analytics experience (ideally in Marketing or Acquisition)

• You are "business minded" - you can make actionable and impactful recommendations

• You are capable of managing projects independently with minimal guidance

• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• You are proactive and autonomous in manipulating data (proficiency in SQL is essential)

• You are familiar with at least one Data visualization tool

• You want to grow and keep learning

• You are agile and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Bonus:

• You know a programming language

• You are aware of Git & versioning concepts

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

• If your application is selected, you will be contacted by Maxime to complete an online technical test, followed by a 30-minute HR pre-qualification

• Next, you will have a technical interview via video call, covering SQL, Python, statistics, probability, analytics, and business sense

• You will then have one week to complete an analytical Use Case and an AssessFirst test (personality, motivations, and reasoning)

• After that, you will visit us in our offices to present your Use Case and meet Olivier – Head of Data Analytics (your future manager), Iouri – Chief Data Officer, and a business stakeholder

• During your visit to Bordeaux, you will also have a final HR interview, including a debrief on your AssessFirst test
