Description
Quality Control Product Inspectors ensure that all electro-mechanical devices and assemblies meet required specifications, quality standards, and functional performance before shipment. This role performs detailed inspections, functional testing, and documentation to verify that finished units comply with engineering drawings, work instructions, and company quality requirements.
Responsibilities-
- Perform final inspection and functional testing of electro-mechanical assemblies and parts
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Conduct visual inspections for workmanship, wiring quality, component placement, and mechanical integrity
- Use precision tools such as multimeters, torque tools, oscilloscopes, power supplies, bore gauges, and temperature testing ovens
- Document inspection results and non-conformances
- Communicate with production, technician, engineering, and quality teams when units do not meet specifications
- Collaborate with QA, engineering, and production to resolve quality issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area
- Ensure all products meet internal, safety, quality, and regulatory standards before shipment
- Complete transactions within the company’s ERP system for documentation and tracking
- Other production duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Previous production experience required
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience preferred
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical components, wiring, and assembly practices a plus
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions a plus
- Proficiency with inspection and test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, etc.) a plus
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems a plus
- Experience with electronic assembly a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of ESD-safe handling procedures a plus
- Basic soldering inspection knowledge such as IPC standards a plus
Job Detail:
- Full-time position
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Wage DOE
Essential Functions:
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Frequent use of upper body, arms, and hands
- Lifting 10–20 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Bending, stooping, and reaching overhead to move or retrieve materials
- Good hand dexterity and coordination (small parts)
- Normal color vision (due to colored wiring)
- Ability to work with epoxy, glues, and sealants
