High School Biology Teacher | NJ Certified | Arlington, NJ
Every student who walks into a biology classroom is one lesson away from deciding whether science is for them or not. That decision often comes down to the teacher standing at the front of the room.
This role is for that teacher.
A public school district in Arlington, New Jersey is looking for a High School Biology Teacher on a long term contract starting this school year.

What you will be doing:
- Teaching high school Biology aligned with New Jersey state curriculum standards
- Developing lesson plans that incorporate laboratory investigations and scientific inquiry
- Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students
- Assessing student learning and providing feedback through formative and summative assessments
- Maintaining a safe laboratory environment in line with science safety protocols
- Communicating regularly with parents, administrators and support staff on student progress
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Science Education or a related field
- Valid New Jersey Teacher of Biology Certification
- Experience teaching Biology at the high school level preferred
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
