You may also be asked to support other procurement categories from time to time.

This role will require you to lead and execute sourcing projects including strategy development, RFI / RFP process, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations, risk management and contract execution. You will bring a deep understanding of the market forces, external factors, products, suppliers and the supply chain to develop a sourcing plan which will deliver significant savings and other value.

You will also continually review current and future contractual performance internally and externally with suppliers through data reporting and analysis to ensure competitive advantage is maximised and a robust strategy is executed.

Sourcing and Contracting
•    Lead end-to-end sourcing including RFx development, supplier evaluations, award recommendations, contract negotiation and contract execution. •    Use strong negotiation, influencing and communication capabilities to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
•    Overcome barriers to significant change arising from new procurement approaches.

Cost Diagnostic Implementation & Capability Building
•    Lead the implementation of IT procurement initiatives identified by a recent cost diagnostic, working with relevant business stakeholders to deliver expected benefits.
•    Provide training and coaching to upskill Procurement Managers and transfer relevant IT category knowledge and best practices.

•    Proven track record in influencing sourcing decisions within the IT Category
•    Expert negotiator, solid knowledge of contract language and legislative requirements.
•    Previous experience of working through a digital transformation would be an advantage.
•    Results-orientated, excellent analytical, process and problem-solving skills
