Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an energetic, detailed and organized individual to join our Wealth Management team in Calgary. The successful candidate’s role will support a Wealth Management team in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships. 


Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with a team of Investment Advisors, supporting client relationships and contributing to the growth of a sustainable wealth management business;
  • Demonstrate a proactive, client-focused approach by anticipating needs, delivering timely and accurate results, and independently managing administrative and operational responsibilities;
  • Assist Investment Advisors with the processing, execution, and confirmation of client transactions and trading activities;
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients by responding to inquiries, providing quotes, executing trading orders, and delivering exceptional service;
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute regular and ad hoc reports, account lists, statistical information, and other business-related reporting;
  • Process, review, and follow up on client documentation to ensure accurate account maintenance and compliance requirements are met;
  • Liaise with internal departments and external service providers to facilitate account administration, documentation processing, and operational requests;
  • Provide marketing support to Advisors, including coordinating digital marketing campaigns, preparing and distributing mass client communications (electronic and mail), maintaining marketing materials, and supporting client engagement initiatives;
  • Support business development efforts through various client retention, referral, and marketing initiatives;
  • Remain current on company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and compliance updates;
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned;



Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIRO Licensed as an Investment Representative, or actively working toward obtaining the designation;
  • 2-3 years of related experience, with a well-rounded knowledge and interest in the securities industry;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take initiatives and multi-task;
  • Ability to work independently, and effectively with employees and clients at all levels;
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills: good working knowledge of MS Office programs;
  • An interest in Financial Planning and/or Insurance would be an asset;
  • Experience with Dataphile, Envestnet, Salesforce and netx360 would be an asset.
