Our team in Austin, TX (or Alpharetta, GA) is looking for a Lead Analyst, Rebates and Compliance.
This is a fully onsite role.
The Lead Analyst, Rebates and Compliance applies highly developed specialist knowledge and skills that enables the contracting
team to offer strategic and competitive solutions to our customers so Abbott can lead the industry in new technology. This position
will serve as an operational and analytical expert supporting key contracting decisions, operationalize new complex strategies, and
provide reporting for the new complex NTAP discount allocation process. The Lead Analyst will have to follow regulatory Job
Evaluation Request Form Rev 11-25 requirements and internal policies to ensure accurate management of these complex
programs that allow the contracting department to support profitable growth and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Work On
- Discount Allocation Reporting and NTAP/TPT Support: Manage discount allocation reporting for bundled sales arrangements involving NTAP/TPT eligible products (a specialized, highly-complex task that adds another layer of responsibility beyond rebates and compliance), combining ownership of both disciplines while adding responsibility for discount allocation reporting, while serving as a recognized subject matter expert across multiple functional areas and an escalation point for the most complex rebate, compliance and contract performance issues; Analyze pricing structures, bundled arrangements, and discount methodologies to ensure reporting accuracy and support reimbursement requirements; Develop, maintain, and document allocation models, reporting tools, methodologies, and audit trail's
- Contract Performance Program Management: Own the administration of the most complex customer rebate, administrative fee, and commitment-based contract programs from contract execution through expiration, financial risk management, contract performance oversight, advanced financial modeling, and strategic business consultation.
- Compliance Oversight and Risk Management: Manage and monitor compliance requirements associated with commitment based agreements and commercial programs.
- Customer and Cross-Functional Relationship Management
- Analyze New Business Strategies that impact Discount Allocation Reporting & Offer Solutions: includes a strong understandingof applicable corporate policies and healthcare industry compliance requirements, including USP&P, Anti-Kickback Statute,Discount Safe Harbor provisions, AdvaMed guidelines, and New Technology Add On Payments
- Mentor and Guide Sr Rebate Analysts & Compliance Analysts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 7 years - In business, finance, accounting, legal, rebates, compliance or strategic pricing and contracting is required
- Strong preference for minimum of 1 year of experience in compliance or rebate processing.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations including AdvaMed Code, USP&P, Anti-Kickback Statute, Discount Safe Harbor guidance and New Technology Add-On Payments(NTAP)
- Excellent communications skills with attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, ability to work with general supervision, must be autonomous.
- Leadership, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic and problem solving skills required.
- Knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
- High level data analytic skills to build customized analytics based on need.
- Working knowledge of CLM/BO systems.
- Strong quantitative & qualitative analysis skills, including experience working with large data sets.
- Ability to work seamlessly with remote sites & business partners including building relationship with Sales personnel and build rapport with diverse personalities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have well-honed sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
- Customer-service oriented mind frame and skill sets.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and advanced skills in Excel.
