Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Intervention in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and respond to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with visitor access procedures, wayfinding, and adherence to facility policies while maintaining a professional and compassionate presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
