Description

Inside the Role

Driver Experience creates the digital interactions that help drivers operate Daimler Truck vehicles more comfortably, safely, and efficiently. Our global portfolio includes Instrument Cluster and In-Vehicle Infotainment systems, unified HMI platforms, UI/UX concepts, and application software for current and future software-defined vehicles.

As the Manager of Driver Experience Systems & Intake, you will lead a global team responsible for Systems Engineering, global intake and prioritization, and the Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Connectivity, and Diagnostics content for Driver Experience systems and HMI ECU platforms. You will establish the technical direction, requirements, governance, and delivery expectations needed to translate customer, business, regulatory, and UX/UI needs into safe, secure, connected, diagnosable, and executable product solutions.

You will lead Systems Engineering for Occupant Information and Occupant Control related to TT/S, strengthen the integration of UX/UI concepts and customer interactions into requirements development, and ensure clear system definitions, interfaces, traceability, and lifecycle deliverables. In parallel, you will lead the evaluation and prioritization of incoming global requests, aligning demand with platform strategies, development capacity, release plans, and business priorities.

You will also provide leadership and technical accountability for Driver Experience Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Connectivity, and Diagnostics. This includes ensuring the applicable requirements, analyses, implementation expectations, compliance evidence, and technical deliverables are defined and executed throughout the product lifecycle.

As a member of the Driver Experience leadership team, you will develop the organization and provide transparency into priorities, technical risks, resource needs, funding gaps, and delivery commitments. Working across global and regional organizations, you will align product planning, engineering, software development, integration, and validation to deliver scalable Driver Experience solutions across Daimler Truck brands.
