Housed in a six-story Beaux-Arts townhouse on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Casa Cruz offers an intimate yet vibrant dining experience across five floors.

We’re looking for a hands-on Service Manager who brings energy, confidence, and a passion for hospitality. Working closely with the General Manager and the broader leadership team, you’ll lead service on the floor, develop our front-of-house team, and ensure every guest experience reflects the Casa Cruz standard.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead service from open to close, maintaining exceptional standards for hospitality, presentation, and cleanliness.

• Be a visible presence on the floor, supporting the team, anticipating guest needs, and resolving issues with confidence and care.

• Train, coach, and develop front-of-house staff, building strong product knowledge and consistent service standards.

• Work closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure seamless communication and service.

• Oversee reservations, support the host stand, and assist with private events from inquiry through execution.

• Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, administrative tasks, and daily operations.

• Assist with guest feedback and service recovery, ensuring concerns are handled thoughtfully and promptly.

• Support food and beverage education, inventory management, and cost-control initiatives.

• Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, attention to detail, and teamwork.

WHAT YOU BRING

• At least 2 years of restaurant management experience; high-volume or luxury hospitality experience is a plus.

• Strong food, beverage, and service knowledge.

• A natural ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with Toast POS, Microsoft Office, inventory, and cost control.

• Flexibility to work evenings, late-night closings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Ability to obtain Food Handler certification within 30 days of hire.
