As a Warehouse and Yard Operator II, you will support warehouse and yard operations by receiving, verifying, storing, staging, and loading tubular equipment while ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely delivery to customers. You will work closely with team members, third-party drivers, and transportation providers to support efficient material movement and loading and unloading activities.
You will play an important role in maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records while helping ensure warehouse and yard activities are completed in accordance with established safety, quality, and operational procedures.

As a Warehouse and Yard Operator II, you will use your forklift operating experience, attention to detail, and material-handling skills to support safe and efficient warehouse operations. You will handle long, heavy tubular equipment, maintain accurate inventory records, verify incoming and outgoing shipments, and contribute to the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility.
As a Warehouse and Yard Operator II, you will be responsible for:
- Safely operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage long, heavy tubular equipment.
- Verifying incoming shipments and outgoing deliveries for accuracy and completeness.
- Inspecting equipment and materials while ensuring proper documentation and inventory control.
- Coordinating with third-party drivers and transportation providers to facilitate efficient loading and unloading activities.
- Utilizing SAP and Microsoft Excel to track inventory, process transactions, and maintain warehouse records.
- Reading and comprehending work instructions, correspondence, shipping documents, and internal procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment.
- Assisting with inventory counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Using basic hand tools as needed and performing routine warehouse support activities.
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet operational and customer delivery requirements.
- Following all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience.
- Have experience handling long, heavy tubular products or similar industrial materials.
- Have computer literacy with proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Have strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify equipment and shipment documentation.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have experience working with external carriers, vendors, or third-party drivers.
- Be mechanically inclined with experience using basic hand tools.
- Have the ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and calculations.
Desired Characteristics
- Have previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, oilfield, pipe yard, or distribution warehouse environment.
- Have experience working in a high-volume logistics or material-handling operation.
