The role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and develop the residential sales operation at the Aylesbury branch. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong sales background who enjoys motivating teams, driving performance and delivering outstanding results.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day success of the sales department, ensuring a strong market presence, consistent revenue growth and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the branch sales department
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of sales negotiators and support staff
• Drive new business through valuations, instructions and networking
• Carry out market appraisals and convert valuation opportunities into instructions
• Monitor and report on KPIs, sales targets and team activity
• Hold regular one-to-ones and performance reviews with team members
• Ensure outstanding customer service at every stage of the sales process
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local property market and competitor activity
• Ensure all processes comply with current property legislation and company standards
• Work collaboratively with other departments to maximise cross-selling opportunities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in residential property sales, ideally as a Sales Manager or Senior Negotiator
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation ability
• Target-driven with a strong commercial mindset
• Thorough knowledge of the sales process and property legislation
• The ability to lead by example and build a high-performance culture
• A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle (essential)

Working hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:45am – 6:00pm
• Friday: 8:45am – 5:30pm
• Alternate Saturdays: 10:00am – 3:00pm
