Senior Manager Patient Access & Authorizations - Physician Services - Revenue Cycle Management - Remote

Strivant Health is seeking a Patient Access & Authorizations Senior Manager responsible for leading Patient Access and Authorization operations, including patient registration, insurance verification, financial clearance, pre-authorizations, patient collections, and related revenue cycle functions. This role provides leadership for both U.S. and Global team members, ensuring productivity, quality, service level agreements, and client expectations are consistently achieved across a distributed workforce. The Manager partners closely with operational leadership to drive process improvement, employee development, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Handle
- Lead daily Patient Access & Authorization operations for assigned clients
- Manage and develop U.S. and Global team members.
- Drive productivity, quality, customer service, and service-level performance.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, attendance, and workforce planning.
- Monitor key operational metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
- Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors, team leads, and staff.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and corrective action when necessary.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and employee engagement efforts.
- Manage escalated patient, client, payer, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with revenue cycle leaders to improve workflows and operational results.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and leverage technology to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, payer requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Support client implementations, special projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum four (4) years of leadership experience in Patient Access, Authorizations, and Registration, preferably in a third-party follow-up RCM organization.
- Experience managing blended U.S. and global offshore healthcare operations teams is required.
- Strength in revenue cycle client engagement, conflict resolution, and cross‑functional project leadership.
- Experience managing productivity, quality, and service-level agreement performance.
- Prior experience with pre-authorizations and insurance certification processes preferred.
- Experience with medical billing, patient scheduling, or revenue cycle management systems.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills.
- Strong understanding of AR follow-up, denial management, cash posting, and RCM workflows.
- Working knowledge of CPT, ICD‑9/10, HCPCS, payer rules (government and commercial).
- Strength in understanding of government payers, Medicare, multiple state Medicaid programs, and Medi-Cal.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfort with EMR/practice management systems and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills with a focus on measurable impact.
- Must currently reside in the U.S.
