You are a specialist in a process, workstream or area in Mondelēz International Digital Services, working to support impeccable service operations.

How you will contribute

You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondelēz International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.

Immigration Analyst, LA

 

Role Purpose:

Coordinate immigration processes for talent relocating to Latin America. Ensure timely management of visas and work permits, compliance with applicable immigration requirements, and a positive service experience for employees and the business.

This role partners closely with Global Mobility Team, immigration service providers, and internal stakeholders to support international moves and help mitigate the company’s immigration risks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Immigration coordination: Coordinate and track visa applications, work permits, renewals, and other immigration requirements for talent relocating to Latin America.
  • Immigration compliance: Work with service providers and internal teams to ensure processes comply with applicable regulations and company policies. Identify and promptly escalate risks, upcoming expirations, or issues that may affect employees’ work authorization.
  • Vendor management: Coordinate immigration service providers, monitor responsiveness, service quality, and adherence to service-level agreements, and follow up on issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Employee support: Guide employees through the immigration process, clearly communicating document requirements, key steps, and expected timelines while providing timely responses to their questions.
  • Stakeholder management: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People Leads, Legal, Payroll, and other teams to align immigration requirements, start dates, and business needs.
  • Documentation and tracking: Maintain accurate case records, immigration documentation, and expiration trackers, ensuring confidentiality and appropriate handling of personal information.
  • Problem-solving: Anticipate obstacles, address delays, and coordinate viable solutions with service providers and the Global Mobility team.
  • Reporting and continuous improvement: Prepare updates on case status, processing timelines, and vendor performance, and recommend improvements to strengthen compliance and the employee experience.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2–3 years of experience in immigration, global mobility, or visa and work permit coordination within a corporate environment, consultancy, or specialized firm.
  • Practical knowledge of Mexican immigration processes, particularly visas and work permits.
  • Knowledge of immigration processes in other Latin American countries is desirable.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with employees, service providers, and global teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating external service providers and supporting international employees is preferred.
