What You'll Do
As a CNA, you'll provide hands-on support and personalized care to residents while promoting comfort, wellness, and independence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and dining assistance.
- Encourage resident independence while providing the level of support outlined in individualized service plans.
- Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
- Record care provided, resident observations, and vital signs as assigned.
- Assist with medication administration in accordance with training, certification, and state regulations.
- Support residents with daily routines, meals, housekeeping tasks, laundry, transportation needs, and community activities.
- Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Follow all safety practices, infection control procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of resident information and protected health information (PHI).
Work Environment
This role requires frequent interaction with residents, families, healthcare providers, and fellow team members in a senior living setting.
The position may involve:
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Assisting residents with mobility and transfers.
- Working weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
- Exposure to cleaning agents, disinfectants, and other healthcare-related environmental conditions.
- Responding to emergencies and participating in community safety procedures.
Sign-On Bonus
Up to $1,500 for Full-Time CNA hires
Up to $750 for Part-Time CNA hires
Bonus payments are made in three installments:
Full-Time
- $500 after 60 days
- $500 after 120 days
- $500 after 180 days
Part-Time
- $250 after 60 days
- $250 after 120 days
- $250 after 180 days
Bonus eligibility requires active employment through the applicable payout dates.

Requirements
- Possesses active and in good standing Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification from the State of Maine CNA Registry.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- A current, valid license to operate a vehicle in the state of Maine and a driving record that is satisfactory to the company may be required.
- Must complete a criminal history record check to the satisfaction of the company.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
