Description
Perform on-site calibration of weather station instruments at utility-scale solar PV plants. Many sites are in remote areas in South Africa and abroad.
Work with solar and meteorological sensors, data loggers, calibration equipment, calibration hardware and associated software.
Take responsibility for calibration projects, including planning, travel arrangements, on-site execution,documentation and client liaison.
Travel to project sites approximately every second week, typically for five consecutive days at a time.
Prepare and check calibration reports and associated documentation.
Minimum requirements
Matric with a technical qualification and/or relevant technical experience,
Good English proficiency,
Valid driver's License,
Own reliable transport,
Physically able to perform fieldwork at remote outdoor sites and to travel frequently.
