We are searching for the best talent for Senior Manager, PSTS.
The Senior Manager, Strategic & Digital Program Enablement will lead integrated program management and provide programmatic oversight for complex, cross-functional priorities, with an initial focus on the PSTS digital, data science, AI, and technology portfolio. The role will serve as an integrator across the portfolio, helping connect priorities and investments to PSTS business and portfolio priorities and intended scientific, business, operational, portfolio, and enterprise outcomes.
This role will partner across scientific, business, digital, technology, data science, finance, and operational teams to translate strategic priorities into coordinated execution. The Senior Manager will strengthen integrated portfolio visibility, connect interdependent initiatives, identify cross-portfolio dependencies and risks, facilitate decision-making, and support effective execution and follow-through across organizational boundaries, while helping ensure the collective portfolio remains aligned to business and portfolio priorities and intended strategic outcomes.
Working in partnership with PSTS digital leadership, Finance, JJT, DDSAI, business owners, and initiative leads, the role will be accountable for the integrated program-management layer across the portfolio, connecting priorities, plans, dependencies, risks, resource considerations, decisions, governance, and outcomes across the collective body of work. The role will maintain clear accountability with the teams responsible for individual project delivery, technical execution, financial management, and business outcomes.
In addition to the initial PSTS digital focus, the Senior Manager may apply these capabilities to other high-priority SIS and PSTS strategic priorities, operating model changes, portfolio initiatives, and transformation efforts where cross-functional coordination and disciplined execution are critical.
You will be responsible for:
- Strategic & Portfolio Alignment: Connect PSTS digital, data, AI, and technology priorities and investments to business and portfolio priorities and intended outcomes. Support prioritization and sequencing discussions by providing visibility to strategic alignment, dependencies, resource implications, risks, trade-offs, and portfolio value.
- Strategic & Digital Program Enablement: Lead integrated program management across PSTS digital, data, AI, and technology priorities, connecting strategic priorities, initiatives, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and execution needs into a cohesive program view.
- Integrated Planning & Coordination: Develop and maintain integrated program and portfolio plans and facilitate alignment across business owners, digital leadership, Finance, JJT, DDSAI, initiative leads, and other partners. Connect activity across initiatives to provide visibility to overall progress, interdependencies, and execution needs.
- Programmatic Management & Execution Enablement: Lead the program-management layer across the portfolio, including integrated planning, milestones, critical dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, governance, and escalation. Drive alignment and follow-through across initiatives and work with project and initiative leads to ensure progress against agreed priorities and plans, while preserving their accountability for day-to-day project delivery.
- Risk, Dependency & Resource Integration: Proactively identify cross-initiative dependencies, resource and capacity constraints, execution barriers, and emerging risks. Facilitate cross-functional resolution where possible and timely escalation when leadership decisions or trade-offs are required.
- Leadership Decision Enablement: Synthesize complex portfolio and program information into clear insights, options, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making, prioritization, sequencing, and resource discussions. Prepare and support leadership governance forums, facilitate timely decision-making, and drive accountability for follow-through across complex cross-functional priorities.
- Governance & Portfolio Visibility: Establish fit-for-purpose governance, program reviews, decision pathways, and portfolio-level reporting that provide leaders and stakeholders with meaningful visibility to progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and outcomes, including portfolio value and alignment to strategic priorities.
- Change & Business Readiness: Integrate stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, adoption, and implementation considerations across major initiatives to support effective deployment and sustained business adoption.
- Outcomes & Continuous Improvement: Connect program activity to intended scientific, business, operational, portfolio, and enterprise outcomes and identify opportunities to strengthen execution, program effectiveness, and ways of working.
- Strategic Enablement: Apply programmatic leadership and enablement capabilities to other high-priority SIS and PSTS strategic priorities, operating model changes, portfolio initiatives, and transformation efforts as business needs evolve.
