Position Summary...
The Senior Manager, Project Management – Operations Governance is responsible for establishing and leading the governance framework that enables VIZIO's most critical operational initiatives to be prioritized, planned, executed, monitored, and delivered effectively.This role reports to the Director of Operations & Business Administration within VIZIO as an individual contributor. This role is primarily responsible for project portfolio governance, operational execution oversight, and cross-functional program management. The Senior Manager will ensure operational initiatives align to business priorities, are managed through consistent processes, and provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
This individual will partner closely with leaders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and other business functions to drive execution excellence, strengthen accountability, mitigate risk, and improve organizational effectiveness.
What you'll do...
- Own VIZIO's Rhythm of the Business by establishing and managing governance processes, operating cadences, and decision-making frameworks that support the intake, prioritization, approval, execution, monitoring, and closure of strategic initiatives, while driving consistency, accountability, and effective business execution.
- Support leadership governance by scheduling and facilitating steering committees, portfolio reviews, governance forums, and operating cadences; preparing agendas and materials; documenting decisions and actions; and ensuring follow-through on key commitments.
- Standardize business performance management by partnering with functional leaders to establish consistent KPIs, OKRs, dashboards, definitions, and reporting mechanisms.
- Deliver clear, actionable business insights to executives through targeted dashboards that surface performance trends, risks, dependencies, and critical decisions.
- Drive accountability and execution of cross-functional initiatives by overseeing project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resource needs, and timelines to ensure successful delivery against business objectives.
- Lead business initiatives and special projects by applying project management best practices to define scope, align stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, coordinate execution, and deliver cross-functional business outcomes both within and beyond VIZIO's Rhythm of the Business.
- Identify and escalate business risks by monitoring progress against strategic plans, surfacing execution gaps, cross-functional dependencies, resource constraints, and unresolved decisions, and ensuring timely leadership intervention to keep initiatives on track.
- Optimize leadership operating rhythms by identifying and eliminating duplicative meetings, reporting, and review processes; simplifying governance structures; and ensuring leadership forums are focused on critical decisions and business priorities.
- Deliver executive communications by producing leadership presentations, business reviews, meeting summaries, and executive updates that synthesize complex information into concise, action-oriented insights for senior leaders
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment by coordinating stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Strategy, and other business functions; driving issue resolution, dependency management, and alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in business operations, program/project management, PMO, operational governance, strategy & operations, or related disciplines.
- Experience supporting senior leaders and executives through governance, strategic planning, business reviews, and operating cadences.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience developing governance processes, executive reporting, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance management tools.
- Experience managing competing priorities, stakeholders, risks, and dependencies across multiple business functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including executive presentations and business reviews.
- Demonstrated business acumen, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365, and dashboarding/reporting tools.
- Experience with project and portfolio management tools,
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams in technology, consumer electronics, retail, eCommerce, media, or related industries.
- Experience operating in large, highly matrixed organizations.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
