Job Summary
Make a System-Wide Impact in Ambulatory CareThis is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape infection prevention practices across more than 200 ambulatory care sites within the Mass General Brigham (MGB) system, including primary care, specialty clinics, urgent care, surgical centers, and endoscopy suites.
As part of a highly collaborative, specialized team of three, you’ll have the unique ability to influence care delivery at scale while still working closely with frontline teams. This role offers the best of both worlds: the autonomy and visibility of a small, agile team paired with the resources, innovation, and reputation of a world-renowned healthcare system.
This role coordinates and supports infection prevention and control initiatives across a diverse network of ambulatory sites, promoting consistent, high-quality standards of care. Responsibilities include surveillance, outbreak investigation, NHSN and non-NHSN reporting, and Environment of Care rounds to identify risks and communicate recommendations to leadership. The role provides infection prevention education and guidance to clinical and non-clinical staff and partners closely with Occupational Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Compliance, and Facilities. It also ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while developing and implementing strategies to reduce infection risk and enhance patient and staff safety.
If you are passionate about education, enjoy building relationships across all levels of an organization, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same—this role is for you.

•Regional Travel: Regular travel throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine—with mileage reimbursement provided.
