The Role & What You Will Be Doing 

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference, and here’s how the Financial Analyst role will make an impact:  

 

This position will lead the local medical team, ensure alignment and execution of local/regional medical strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key healthcare stakeholders to drive meaningful impact for patients and the business. 

 

• Preparation of financial managements reports, plans and forecasts

• Timely preparation of accurate and insightful P&L variances reporting and analytic

• Key role in the planning and forecasting cycles throughout the year

• Participate in the procurement process by reviewing the budgeted requisitions in Smart source and monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures

• Perform the bookkeeping process – account for all types of current and capital expenditures in accordance with company’s policies and local regulations.

• Prepares monthly reports with budget/forecast/prior years or quarters comparisons for the P&L with details for promotion expenses, headcount, departmental expenses and explains drivers of variances

• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities

• Ensure support of internal and external audits within the scope of the position. Promote the good reputation and protect the interests of the Company in his/her relations with the institutions, customers and/or other representatives of the industry and the public.

• Ad-hoc tasks and participate in other local, regional or global projects and initiatives as required

 

About Your Skills & Experience 

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:  

•  Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Fundamental knowledge, skills and techniques required by the modern financial specialist - thorough knowledge of Economics, Accounting (local and US GAAP), Financial Statement Analysis, Quantitative Methods, etc.
• Ability to understand and interpret the financial statements produced by organizations, understanding of the regulatory framework in which these statements are prepared and of the principles and methods which underlie their preparation.
• High standard of ethical responsibility and professional conduct, able to work in a team, ability to work with strict due dates. 
• 3 or 4 years of FP&A / strong analytical knowledge and accounting expertise are required
