Director of Pricing

This role supports our corporate office in Lexington Park, MD.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

o Cost/Price Proposal Management. Lead, develop and execute pricing strategies for proposals
o Establish pricing policies, procedures, templates, cost models, and cost estimating standards
o Provide leadership, training and mentoring to pricing team members
o Develop competitive pricing database and subcontractor price analysis
o Develop pricing data and competitive analysis to support BD gate reviews 
o Participate in BD meetings, pipeline reviews and gate reviews
o Effective communication and collaboration across departments to gather and analyze data input for cost/price proposal development
o Develop competitive cost/price proposals and lead cost/price proposal reviews
o Ensure cost/price proposal compliance with applicable policies, regulations and RFP requirements
o Review and edit proposal cost sections for clarity, accuracy, and consistency with company processes and policies
o Prepare pricing reports, cost breakdowns, and performance analyses to support decision-making
o Support cost/price negotiations with Government, prime contractors and subcontractors during source selection
o Review contract award documentation in coordination with Director of Contracts to ensure alignment with proposal and negotiations
o Collaborate with IT Department to review and adopt new technology (AI, tools, etc.) to automate/expedite time consuming, repetitive processes
o Provides data, reports, and recommendations to leadership team

Basic Requirements:
• 10+ years of progressive experience and responsibility in government contracting, finance, cost estimating and pricing
• Significant experience developing cost/price proposals for DoD government proposals including cost reimbursable, T&M and FFP for contractor support services as prime contractor and subcontractor
• Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements applicable to government contract pricing
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and demonstrated ability to develop and manage complex pricing models
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to interpret complex solicitations and translate requirements into compliant pricing solutions
• Experience with price-to-win and competitive pricing analysis
• Experience analyzing data from multiple sources such as employee salary data, BLS, recruiting data, and other salary survey databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication, coordination and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and competing deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work both strategically and hands-on in a small-business environment both independently and in a team working with all corporate departments and senior leadership
• Experience working closely with Business Development and Capture teams and senior leadership to include strategic planning, pipeline development, gate reviews, and proposal reviews
• Active DoD security clearance
• Strong data and configuration management skills including familiarity with CUI data handling requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing proposals for multiple Department of War agencies, such as Navy, Air Force, Army, etc.
• Experience supporting GSA Multiple Award Schedule
• Experience with PIEE Solicitation application
• Experience with IDIQ and multiple-award contract vehicles
• Experience supporting DCAA/DCMA reviews, audits, or government inquiries

Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Security Clearance:  Secret or above (must be a US Citizen).
