About the team

The Project Management Office is responsible for orchestrating, driving, and scaling the cross-functional execution of our next-generation autonomous platforms from early-stage R&D to deployment-ready systems. By bridging the gap between cutting-edge engineering, supply chain management, international logistics, and complex regulatory compliance, the team ensures the operational success of our systems. Working in close collaboration with software, robotics, and hardware engineering leads, the team designs the processes, trackers, and workflows that align our rapid technical roadmaps with our strategic milestones—acting as the core operational engine that transforms innovative prototypes into highly reliable, field-ready products.

Your mission

As a Venture Development Intern, your mission is to work directly with the senior program leadership to optimize cross-functional operations and drive the deployment readiness of our next-generation defense technologies. By taking entrepreneurial ownership of critical international logistics, supplier pipelines, and regulatory clearances, you will experience first-hand what it means to build, scale, and operate a high-growth, defense-tech company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize cross-functional program management trackers.

• Synthesize complex technical engineering updates into structured executive summaries.

• Own the coordination of resource, personnel, and equipment schedules for product  demonstrations.

• Support the hands-on execution of high-stakes international field trials.

• Assist in compiling regulatory compliance, flight clearance, and safety cases.

• Manage external vendor relationships and monitor critical hardware lead times.

• Conduct strategic market and competitor research to support go-to-market strategies.

• Draft and coordinate operational concepts (ConOps) and system documentation.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Business, Economics or related degree program. Ideally at the intersection between business and engineering or high interest in engineering topics.

• Proficiency in MS365, Google Suite, and project management tools.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong multitasking and self-organization skills.

• High standards of execution paired with a low-ego mindset.

• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.

• Availability for a full-time internship of a minimum of 3 months.

• Passion for deep-tech, robotics, and defense technology.

Nice to have

• First practical experience in a startup, consulting, or venture capital.

• Track record of translating technical data into structured business recommendations.

• Prior experience building project management trackers, process databases, or operational workflows.

• Driver’s license (DE Class B or equivalent).
