Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Jonesboro, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document security-related activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, authorize access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor records.
• Observe vehicle, pedestrian, and trailer traffic at access points; communicate with dispatch, operations personnel, and drivers regarding entry requirements and designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report activity according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
