POSITION SUMMARY:
Les Schwab is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst to support our corporate development team in identifying and executing strategic acquisition opportunities. This role involves financial analysis, due diligence and project management with teams throughout the Les Schwab organization to drive growth through acquisitions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source and identify potential acquisition opportunities for Les Schwab.
- Conduct financial analysis and valuation of target companies.
- Develop and present investment recommendations to senior management.
- Help manage the due diligence process for potential acquisitions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to perform due diligence & integration activities.
- Manage the data flow during the due diligence process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in retail M&A is a plus
