Finance & Accounts Officer

We are looking to hire a Finance & Accounting Officer who will handle the finance function for an HR Consulting Firm as soon as possible.

Below are the key areas of responsibility:

• General Finance: Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (70% of workload)
• Ensure that financial records are always up-to-date in Xero, and paperwork is properly filed.
• Process the payroll and submit financial documents to regulatory bodies within specified timelines (VAT, SSNIT, IRS etc).
• Process vendor payments promptly, after proper documentation is submitted.
• Generate monthly Financial Reports to show the company’s cash flow status.
• Assist the GM in identifying financial trends, forecasting and budgeting.
• Ensure that all accounts receivable and payable issues are resolved on time (prepare invoices and manage revenue collection from clients).
• Prepare invoices and manage revenue collection from clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in any Finance/Accounting Major. A Master's Degree is an advantage
• Full or at least part-qualification for the ACCA or ICA is preferred
• At least 3 years of experience working independently
• Experience and proficiency in XERO Accounting software is a major plus
• A valid driver's license with a clean record is a major plus
