Responsibilities

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a Custodian. The Custodian maintains all areas needing housekeeping throughout the plant and offices, as well as outside parking lots, loading/unloading areas, and lawns.

You'll need to be able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs occasionally and work around moving mechanical parts.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $16.50/hour, based on education, experience, other qualifications, and location of assignment

Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, hot wash, vacuum, and periodically wax floors
• Wash walls and inside windows
• Clean offices, move furniture, gather and dispose of trash, and clean light fixtures, window tops, and ledges
• Clean overhead areas such as pipes and machinery with compressed air hoses or cloths
• Pick up litter, sweep, and perform general groundskeeping around the plant, parking lot, lawns, and walkways
• Assemble and transport cleaning supplies and equipment to designated areas

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs (required)
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and occasionally climb or balance
• Close and distance vision
• Work environment: near moving mechanical parts; occasionally in high places, outside weather, fumes/airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
