The Opportunity:

 

As IT/OT Specialist you provide computer onsite support execution for factory or Hitachi energy site's owned/managed assets​ and operational support of both office IT and shop floor IT/OT assets that are not supported by the OSS techs. You carry out IT/OT Cybersecurity first responder tasks​ and IT/OT assets cybersecurity operational tasks​.

 

How you’ll make an impact:

 

  • Provide end-user support for IT equipment, software, meeting rooms, and other collaboration/common areas as part of desk-side support.
  • Provide onsite IT support for factory or site-owned and managed assets.
  • Perform operational IT/OT cybersecurity tasks.
  • Provide operational support for both Office IT and Shop Floor IT/OT assets, including:
    • Kiosks
    • Printers
    • Conference Rooms / Microsoft Teams Rooms
    • Vendor-managed machines that are not supported by Global OSS teams or are managed/owned by the factory
    • CCTV and security systems
    • Access badge systems
    • MES scanners and related hardware support
  • Act as the first responder for IT/OT cybersecurity incidents by investigating and determining the scope of incidents and working closely with the cybersecurity team to contain and remediate them, under the guidance of the factory incident response team.
  • Identify critical assets within the factory environment that require monitoring and protection.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT Support, including end-user support, infrastructure, and operational IT services.
  • Advanced proficiency in both the local language and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, customer-oriented, and solution-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Experience with ServiceNow IT Enterprise Platform is desirable.
  • ITIL 4 Certification is considered a strong plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma (L6S) Certification is considered a plus.
  • Availability to work in an 100% on-site environment.
