Event and Programming Manager

 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• 1-3 years of experience in events, sports, fitness, hospitality, experiential marketing, brand activations, community, entertainment, production, or a consumer/startup environment.
• Strong end-to-end event execution experience — from planning and vendor coordination to on-ground execution and post-event reporting.
• Excellent project management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays and late hours when events require it.
• Good written and verbal communication, especially for participant communication, WhatsApp updates, event briefs and documentation.

ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a premium sports and wellness platform building a new standard for sport in India. It offers padel and pickleball courts, academies, fitness and recovery programs, including Women’s Padel Academy, HYROX, Hybrid Athlete and Pilates. Currently present across Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Delhi, with Hyderabad and more cities in the pipeline, they are building a strong community through tournaments, leagues, Americanos, brand activations and curated experiences that bring together founders, investors, creators and athletes.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop new event formats, tournaments, leagues, community experiences and brand activations.
• Manage timelines, checklists, budgets, venues, courts, registrations, schedules, vendors, equipment, branding and contingency plans.
• Manage registrations, confirmations, FAQs, WhatsApp communication, check-in, hospitality and post-event engagement.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Sports Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in events, sports, fitness, hospitality, experiential marketing, brand activations, community, entertainment, production or consumer startups.
• Strong event planning, project management, coordination and communication skills.
• Candidates with a sports, fitness or hospitality background will be preferred, but it is not mandatory.
• Must be based in Mumbai and comfortable with travel and working on evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Work Model Arrangement: Onsite
Primarily working on Saturdays and Sundays, with one weekday off each week; flexibility for occasional evening and late-hour events is required.
