Assist With Personal Care and Household Routines
- Provide hands-on assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and other activities of daily living.

- Maintain a supportive atmosphere that promotes comfort, dignity, and personal choice.
Promote Skill Development and Community Participation
- Implement supports outlined in each individual's Individual Habilitation Plan.

- Exchange relevant information with nursing staff, supervisors, families, guardians, healthcare providers, and other authorized individuals.

You'll become familiar with the individuals receiving services, learn their routines and preferences, and contribute to their health and quality of life over time.
Your CHHA certification will be an important part of your work, but so will your ability to encourage independence, recognize individual accomplishments, and provide compassionate support.
