Summary:
Lead systems engineering for production-oriented tire intelligence solutions delivered to global OEM and Tier-1 customers. Translate customer and product needs into complete, traceable system requirements and architectures coordinate embedded software, algorithms, sensors, gateways, cloud interfaces, functional safety, cybersecurity, integration, and validation from concept through vehicle launch and field support.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end systems engineering for OEM tire intelligence applications, including system context, use cases, operating scenarios, interfaces, performance targets, diagnostics, assumptions, and acceptance criteria.
Elicit, analyze, and negotiate OEM requirements perform gap and impact analysis establish bidirectional traceability across customer, system, software, hardware, algorithm, safety, cybersecurity, and test work products.
Develop and maintain system architecture and interface definitions across tire-mounted sensors, vehicle networks, ECUs/TCUs, receivers/gateways, embedded algorithms, cloud services, and customer applications.
Convert tire intelligence functions such as tire health, pressure/load estimation, leak detection, road or friction insights, and aquaplaning-related features into implementable and verifiable system specifications.
Lead technical reviews with OEMs, Tier-1s, suppliers, and global engineering teams drive decisions, interface alignment, risk closure, and resolution of system-level issues.
Plan and support integration and verification through model-, software-, processor-, hardware-in-the-loop, bench, vehicle, and fleet testing ensure requirements-based coverage and evidence.
Apply Automotive SPICE and systems V-model practices, including change control, baselining, configuration management, design reviews, defect management, and release readiness.
Integrate functional safety and cybersecurity needs in coordination with specialists, supporting ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434 work products, safety/security analyses, technical concepts, and customer evidence.
Support production launch and lifecycle activities, including calibration/interface changes, root-cause analysis, field issue resolution, technical documentation, and lessons learned for reusable platforms.
Mentor engineers and strengthen India-based systems capability through structured reviews, knowledge transfer, and consistent global engineering practices.
SUCCESS PROFILE :Systems thinker who combines technical depth, disciplined execution, customer orientation, and pragmatic decision-making in a global matrix environment.
