Description
Location: BGC
Work Setup: Hybrid, 3 Days WFH and 2 Days Onsite

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Lead end-to-end integration workstreams across Guidewire implementation, upgrade, and cloud transformation programs.

Define integration strategies, architecture, design principles, and implementation standards aligned with enterprise requirements.

Lead and mentor integration developers and technical consultants throughout solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
-
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to establish integration roadmaps and make key architectural decisions.

Design and implement integrations across Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Guidewire Cloud environments.
-
Develop integration patterns supporting real-time, near-real-time, batch, event-driven, and messaging-based processing.
-
Define API-led integration architectures using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and other relevant integration technologies.
-
Design and oversee integrations with enterprise applications, third-party platforms, and external systems.
-
Establish reusable integration frameworks, components, and accelerators to improve development efficiency and consistency.
-
Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure integration solutions follow established architectural best practices.
-
Troubleshoot complex integration issues and implement solutions that improve reliability, scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Support Guidewire Cloud integration architecture and implementation, ensuring secure connectivity with external systems through Guidewire Cloud APIs.
-
Apply cloud-native integration practices and collaborate with cloud platform and DevOps teams during deployment activities.
-
Coordinate with business teams, vendors, and third-party application owners to manage integration dependencies, risks, and technical issues.
-
Provide technical recommendations, project status updates, and delivery insights to leadership teams.
-
Participate in architecture governance, design reviews, and solution assessments.
-
Establish integration testing and validation frameworks, including monitoring, logging, and error-handling standards.
-
Ensure integration solutions comply with applicable security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
-
6-10 years of experience in software integration and enterprise application development.
-
At least 4 years of hands-on Guidewire integration experience.
-
Proven experience leading integration teams or workstreams in large-scale Guidewire implementation programs.
-
Strong knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, Guidewire Cloud Platform, and the Guidewire Integration Framework.
-
Experience designing and delivering enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, messaging frameworks, batch processing, and third-party system interfaces.
-
Strong understanding of API-led architecture, event-driven integration, and enterprise messaging patterns.
-
Experience with one or more middleware or Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms, such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, or AWS Integration Services.

Working knowledge of programming languages and frameworks relevant to Guidewire integration, including Java, Gosu, and Spring Boot.
-
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, or JMS.
-
Familiarity with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
-
Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud or container technologies used in enterprise delivery environments.
-
Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes and enterprise application landscapes.
-
Demonstrated technical leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience designing and delivering integrations for Guidewire Cloud transformation programs.

Knowledge of GraphQL and Python for integration development or automation.

Exposure to cloud platforms and services across Microsoft Azure and AWS.
-
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
-
Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and API documentation standards.
-
Experience establishing enterprise integration governance, reusable frameworks, and architecture standards.
-
Experience managing vendor relationships, technical dependencies, and integration delivery across distributed teams.
