Personal Lines Insurance Broker (Level 1) – Ponoka OR Lacombe, Alberta
Our Client is looking for a Level 1 Insurance Broker to join their Ponoka, Alberta office. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational insurance knowledge who value exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a smaller office, they offer a unique opportunity to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of experienced Level 2 brokers. Here, you’re not just an employee—you’re a valued member of the team.
This can be a Hybrid Position for the right candidate. Must be LEVEL 1 Insurance Licensed.

Key Responsibilities
- Process auto and personal lines transactions efficiently
- Conduct policy renewal reviews with clients, ensuring they understand their current coverages and available options
- Provide expert advice and guidance to help clients make informed insurance decisions
- Address client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Perform general office and administrative duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Level 1 General Insurance License (or actively working towards it)
- Will consider newly licensed candidates; 1+ year of industry experience preferred if not yet licensed
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with Applied Systems is an asset
