SharePoint Administrator

We are currently looking for a SharePoint Administrator to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.

As a member of our Microsoft Infrastructure & Collaboration team, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, evolution, and support of SharePoint platforms in complex enterprise environments. You will contribute to the design and implementation of modern SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions while ensuring platform stability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain SharePoint farms (on-premises) and SharePoint Online environments.
• Manage SharePoint servers and IIS-based infrastructures.
• Provide 2nd line support and handle incidents, service requests, and problem management activities.
• Troubleshoot complex issues affecting SharePoint platforms and related Microsoft services.
• Plan, optimize, monitor, and tune SharePoint farm performance and capacity.
• Implement SharePoint patches, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
• Deploy and maintain SPFx (.sppkg) packages in the SharePoint App Catalog
• Design and support hybrid architectures integrating SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services.
• Work closely with developers and infrastructure teams to align platform configurations with project requirements.
• Contribute to technical specifications, architecture reviews, and platform improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and produce activity reports.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL-based change, release, and configuration management processes.

Technical skills:

• Excellent knowledge of SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online administration.
• Strong expertise with Office 365 services including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online and Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience administering complex SharePoint farms in distributed environments.
• Experience with ShareGate Migration Tool and SharePoint migration projects.
• Knowledge of Netcompany GetOrganized ECM administration.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint deployment processes, including App Catalog and SPFx package deployments.
• Experience building and maintaining Hybrid SharePoint solutions.
• Experience with SharePoint patch management and platform lifecycle activities.
• Strong knowledge of OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0 authentication, SSL certificates and Identity Provider integrations.
• Experience with IIS administration and Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration and tiering models.
• Experience working within restricted and highly secured environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for large-scale distributed systems.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Several years of experience administering SharePoint environments in enterprise organizations.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (or equivalent certification).
• Azure Administrator Associate certification (or equivalent) is a strong asset.
• Advanced SharePoint administration certifications are considered an advantage.
• Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong team spirit and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies and business requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English is mandatory
