Job Description:

The Senior User Rep Supervisor oversees activities that impact Global Brokerage operating regions. This role analyzes, designs, and implements transformational brokerage auto rating automation initiatives through project management and operational rollout. This position identifies transformational changes and benefits, establishes goals, and provides visibility tools to ensure results are achieved. This role serves as a Brokerage Operations liaison in cross-functional projects. This position could manage specialists, and admins. 

Responsibilities 

  • Provides subject matter expertise on cross-functional projects to represent the Brokerage Network Operations. 
  • Confers with network partners to understand and outline current processes to develop operational strategic changes, processes, and procedures. 
  • Manages team of professionals who perform analysis, design, requirements, testing, implementation, and support for automation enhancements. 
  • Supports brokerage projects to provide automation for operational improvement supporting productivity, identifying benefits and impact and mitigating risk. 
  • Examines customer concerns to design process improvements, reduce churn, support automation, and increase auto rating growth. 
  • Identifies key cross-functional stakeholders to raise awareness and drive process improvements across the organization.  
  • Supports collaborative efforts across the organization to provide awareness of initiatives impacting brokerage operations. 
  • Submits documented project requests in conjunction with strategic initiatives and network programs to ensure issues are identified and solutions implemented. 
  • Sources and analyzes brokerage interdependent and related data for automation and transformation opportunities. 
  • Conducts root cause analysis to improve processes and enhance system automation. 
  • Supports operational controllership to establish a continuous improvement loop. 
  • Provides Operational training and documentation supporting new or updated systematic functionality and operational process changes. 

Preferences 

  • Possesses knowledge of the Global Brokerage Operations 
  • Possesses knowledge of Brokerage Operating systems and auto rating processes. 
  • Exhibits change control and quality assurance practices. 
  • Displays strong leadership and collaborative abilities. 
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment with cross functional partners. 
  • Possesses problem-solving skills. 
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree).  
  • Customs Brokers License and / or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) 
  • Experience of database development in standard DB platform (e.g., SQL). 
  • Experience in developing analytics tools out of Excel, Power BI or DataBricks. 
  • Experience with UPS Data Tools and Metrics (e.g, Tableau) 
  • Experience with TFS and creating user stories and testing as it relates to Transformation requests 
  • Preparing presentations and ongoing reporting.

OTHER CRITERIA:

Working hours: Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM.

Compensation & Benefits:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $133,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
