Description
The role partners closely with Site Quality Managers and regional quality leaders to drive customer satisfaction, prevent quality issues, reduce the cost of non-quality, and standardize quality processes across the organization.
The successful candidate will lead multi-site quality performance initiatives, establish common standards, promote operational excellence through structured problem-solving methodologies, and leverage digital tools and analytics to improve manufacturing quality performance globally.General Responsibilities • Directs all assigned quality assurance team members while reporting team successes and opportunities to the Director of Quality Assurance and Development • Oversees the sharing and implementation of best practices across all business units • Directs the activities of the Quality Management System • Oversees time management and operational support • Directs and produces Quality Assurance measures and metrics which report any trends or process improvement opportunities for each project • Directs the training and other required activities for the department • Oversees internal control failure remediation efforts Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. • Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members • Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
General Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and monitor external quality KPIs, including defect rate, complaint ratio, customer incidents, and warranty claims.
- Analyze quality performance results and deploy corrective and preventive actions.
- Define and monitor key internal and external quality metrics, including scrap rate and cost of non-quality.
- Identify sources of defects and drive reductions in scrap, complaints, warranty costs, and quality losses.
- Utilize QRQC, 8D, 5 Why Analysis, and root-cause investigation methodologies.
- Harmonize quality processes, KPIs, tools, and reporting mechanisms across manufacturing locations.
- Coordinate cross-regional and multi-site quality teams to facilitate best-practice sharing.
- Deploy common quality standards and training programs.
- Drive a Stop at First Defect quality culture.
- Leverage digital tools, reporting systems, and analytics to improve performance.
Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality Management, or related technical discipline.
- Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality, Operations Quality, or Customer Quality.
- Experience managing quality performance across multiple production sites.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Specific Duties
- Drive deployment of a global manufacturing quality strategy aligned with business and customer requirements.
- Lead initiatives focused on customer satisfaction, issue prevention, and continuous improvement.
- Support preventive quality activities including durability testing, aging tests, OK-start audits, startup checklists, and PFMEA activities.
- Ensure consistent application of quality standards and methodologies across all manufacturing sites.
- Promote data-driven quality improvements using digital solutions and analytics.
Specific Experience
- Extensive experience reducing scrap, customer complaints, warranty costs, and cost of non-quality.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing quality systems and operational excellence principles.
- Hands-on expertise in QRQC, 8D, 5 Why Analysis, and structured root-cause problem solving.
- Experience implementing standardized quality tools and processes across multiple locations.
Preferred Certifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Lean Manufacturing certification.
- ASQ CQE, CMQ/OE, or equivalent preferred.
- ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 Auditor certification preferred.

Gross Annual Salary Range:
55,751.00 EUR - 76,657.90 EURThe salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.
