RESPONSIBILITIES
Support customer design‑in activities by assisting with technical inquiries, product recommendations, design and application analysis.
Regularly visit customers, explore design opportunities, and validate pain points/solutions.
Contribute to the design and development of magnetic components, including inductors and transformers.
Perform simulations, modeling, and basic analysis to evaluate magnetic and power conversion performance.
Conduct laboratory testing, data collection, and validation of prototypes and pre‑production samples.
Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and internal summaries to support engineering and customer initiatives.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Product Management, and Manufacturing Engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
Sound understanding of power electronics principles and magnetic components.
Familiarity with simulation tools in SPICE, Ansys Maxwell, MATLAB is a MUST.
Strong understanding of soft magnetic materials.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and LCR meters.
Exposure to PCB design software.
Willing to travel
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Minimun Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years design experience in power electronics or magnetics.
Experience in working with technology leading customers is an added advantage.
