Senior Manager Finance Business Partnering – Data & AI

Join Technology Finance and lead financial strategy and decision support across CommBank's Data and AI portfolio. Partner with senior leaders across the Chief Data Analytics Office (CDAO) and AI Office, providing commercial leadership, strategic insight and financial oversight for one of the bank's most significant technology investment areas.
Leading a team of four Finance Business Partners, you'll drive financial performance, influence investment decisions and help shape the future of Data and AI at CommBank.

As a senior leader, you'll lead a high performing team, build trusted relationships and provide financial leadership across a complex and fast moving portfolio.
Your impact
- Lead, coach and develop a team of four Finance Business Partners
- Partner with General Managers and Executive Managers across Data and AI
- Own budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities
- Deliver monthly financial performance reporting, insights and variance analysis
- Lead investment analysis, business cases and financial modelling for strategic initiatives
- Provide commercial advice to support executive decision-making
- Drive financial governance, controls and balance sheet management
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and enhance financial processes through data and AI
- Influence investment priorities and strategic outcomes across Data and AI platforms
We're interested in hearing from people who have
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
- Strong business partnering experience with senior executives
- Deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial performance management
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience supporting technology, data or AI portfolios is highly regarded
