Pay: $85,000 to $110,000/year

What you'll do
- Defend retail and hospitality clients in civil litigation matters throughout South Carolina.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Prepare reports, budgets, and case evaluations.
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver effective legal solutions.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the litigation practice.
What you'll need
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active South Carolina Bar admission.
- At least three years of civil defense litigation experience.
- Strong motion practice, legal research, and writing skills.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and client communication skills.
- Admission to the Federal District Court of South Carolina is a plus.
