Project: DOP & Growth Projects Permitting and Tree Replacement Compliance Project
1. Project Implementation - Regen Initiatives Under Bacman Growth Projects
- Maintain and facilitate the administration of BGI Tanawon Geothermal Project College Scholarship Program in compliance with the MOA with Sorsogon City;
- Integrate Climate Resiliency initiatives for BGI-Tanawon Scholars;
- Lead the implementation of other regenerative initiatives under Bacman Growth Projects aligned with the overall CSR Programs/Projects and modules including the upcoming Botong-Rangas Project;
- In coordination with the CRD and Project Team (BDG), brainstorm and plan for other projects in areas of education, environment, and enterprise development; and
- Monitoring and evaluation of the previous Regen Projects implemented across EDC Bacman site.
2. Replacement Planting Activities in Compliance to Tree Cutting Permits for Bacman Growth Projects
- Maintenance, monitoring, and evaluation of replacement planting activities in compliance to Tree Cutting Permits issued for Bacman Growth Projects;
- Facilitate coordination with farmers associations, DENR, LGUs, and other relevant stakeholders in ensuring completion of plantation maintenance and protection targets
- Properly record, maintain, and update plantation data
- Facilitate DENR monitoring activities and maintain records of M&E activities conducted by the regulatory agency
- Ensure full and adequate documentation of plantation activities for submission to DENR
3. Stakeholder Management and Support to Permitting Activities for Bacman Growth Projects
- Coordinate with Local Government Units, concerned government agencies, peoples’ organizations, and other partners for the implementation of the regenerative projects;
- Sustain initiatives on effective sustainable stakeholder engagements and assist in the development of a comprehensive database of stakeholders to strengthen the organization’s strategy;
- Assist in the various social permitting requirements including social endorsements and permits related to the Botong-Rangas Project to ensure legal compliance and to address social impacts of the project; and
- Assist on other CRD initiatives (e.g. BINHI, SIKAT) as needed.
