What You’ll Get to Do
The Maintenance Technician is focused on maintaining and repairing a wide range of production equipment - including CNCs, presses, motors, welding tools, and more - while ensuring timely response to facility work requests and strict adherence to safety protocols and reports to the Maintenance Manager.
This role is perfect for an individual who is safety-conscious, technically skilled, and organized. A vital member of the Maintenance Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
- Maintain and repair production equipment including - but not limited to - CNCs, presses, saws, motors, pumps, welding tools across the facility.
- Perform general facility maintenance and respond to work requests in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using prints, schematics, and test equipment.
- Support internal customers by ensuring equipment uptime and reliability through proactive maintenance.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends as needed, while adhering to OBE’s safety policies and PPE requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
- Technical Diploma / Certification is a plus.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in CNC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- PLC experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical prints; basic computer and organizational skills required.
- Welding and pipe fitting experience preferred; forklift and scissor lift operation experience desired.
- Knowledge of chemical waste removal codes and commitment to safety protocols and PPE compliance.
