Responsibilities-
- Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with requirements including quality and output following verbal and written instructions.
- Completes equipment adjustments and tooling changes to maintain compliance with specifications and quality procedures.
- Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
- Records length of time and quality of materials used for each job.
- Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
- Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations and notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications-
Required Education: High School Diploma/GED
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to
- Operate various production equipment with proper training and instruction.
- Use standard measurement equipment.
- Qualify for and operate a forklift.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand for longs periods of time.
- Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
